DOUBLE D'S QUEEN CITY GRILLE
"BLUES ARE ALIVE"
The environment was friendly, the music fit the atmosphere which countered the whirling winds and flood of tablespoon size snowflakes. Double D’s queen city grille has personality that invites you in and supplied the evening with a mood that exemplifies perfection.
There is not another place in the Tonawanda, new york area that will be able to live up to what the queen city grille has established. True, the tonawanda nightlife has become deserted but living right in our own backyard is an experience no one should miss.
Parking is convenient and free with just a hop, skip and a jump to the door. No long blocks to walk especially in the well known buffalo winters through and around hills of snow and icy sidewalks to finally enter the establishment. This parking lot is so large there does not seem to be a bad place to park.
Chicken wings were the order of the evening and although a bit hotter and saucier than expect were cooked extra crispy as ordered. The wings were better than finger licking good, yet we indulged ourselves and added a dip or two into the blue cheese. The kitchen stayed busy until almost midnight and the smell as each order was pumped out left the taste buds with a need for seconds. Jony James blues band will return on Friday April 29th @ 9:30pm. But don't wait that long, stop in on Tuesday march 1st @ 8pm and check out the hurricanes with Harvey Murello. Do yourself a favor by treating your taste buds along with your ears to Tonawanda's best.
