P.C. CAST was born in Watseka, Illinois, in 1960. She is an American romance/fantasy author who is known for the House of Night series that she writes with her daughter, and her two series that she writes on her own called Goddess Summoning and Partholon. She lives in Tulsa where she was previously a teacher. She was also a member of the Air Force, and does a lot of public speaking. She has been married and divorced three times.
KRISTIN CAST is the daughter of P.C. Cast, and was born on November 4, 1986 in Tulsa. She currently attends the University of Tulsa and writes the House of Night young adult series with her mother. A movie based on the series is reported to be planned. In 2010, Kristin announced that she was working on her first solo novel.
